holding pattern

so i've been deemed fit to hold a job. so sources tell me. two, actually. two jobs. quite a mix of my talents, i might add. one job will require me lifting stuff and smiling, the other job will just require me lifting stuff. so i'm happy. thing is, i'm stuck in that annoying holding pattern between hire and start and i've been getting dozens of job offers each day. i think it's safe to say that i'm a hot commodity. very hot. so i'll hold just a bit longer, i guess, and hope the line isn't about to break.
