rode my bicycle

rode my bicycle today. heard a path had been finished between moscow and troy and i thought it was a good day to give it a go. twenty-two miles from pullman to troy. latah trail. new path over obsolete rail-line. new path through rolling fields and ancient rail towns. ghost towns if it weren't for the dogs running around. ghosts towns if it weren't goats on open range. thought i'd make it to troy and take a break to refuel with lunch. thought i'd take a break in troy. made it a couple of miles from troy and the path ended. did not make it to troy. did not break for lunch. nothing between moscow and troy. nowhere to break and refuel. had delusions of heat stroke with no break for lunch and refueling. needed gatorade to refuel. needed a bicycle ride to refuel. thought i'd ride my bicycle to troy because supposedly there's a path all the way there. guess they haven't finished it yet. guess i'll try it again. guess i won't ever listen to them again. guess i'll bring a camera next time to photograph latah ghosts past and future.
