shaking of the earth

i experienced my first earthquake yesterday.

i didn't feel anything, though. i was sleeping. (though i did wake up in the middle of the night with the cat sleeping on my head.) in fact, i didn't even know an earthquake occurred until my brother emailed me from texas.

but there was one in washington and i was in washington and even though it was far away from where i live i'm sure the earth shook just a little bit underneath me. it had to have been at least a 0.1 in pullman. well, maybe it wasn't, but it is still very very scary waking up and getting an email that tells you there has been an earthquake in your state.

very scary.
